Not knowing if your cash advance was accepted or approved only adds more stress to your already stressful situation! Fortunately, there are a couple of things that you will get to show you where you’re at in the process. In this post I’ll explain this to you, as well as one very important thing that you should not do while waiting on your loan.
Before we go any further, it’s important for you to know that I, or my website, do not lend money. We do have a list of legit cash advance lenders for you to check out, but this site is not a lender. Each lender is going to have their own specific practices, and this post is going to reflect my own experience with using online cash advances and what I’ve learned from the relationships with the lenders that I’ve gained from having this website.
So how do you know that your application was accepted? Check your email, you should get conformation within ten or fifteen minutes. Obviously, check the same email address that you used to apply for the loan with. Most lenders are going to do everything via email, so this is going to be your point of contact. There are still a few lenders that are going to call you, so have your phone near you as well. They are more likely to call you to clear something up on your application than they are to let you know that your loan was accepted.
The same thing goes for your loan’s approval. How long it takes is really up to the lender, but most are going to let you know in about an hour, but it can take several depending on how busy the lender is and the day of the week that you’re applying on. Again, you’re going to be notified via email, but also have your phone close by just to be safe.
What You Absolutely, Positively Should Not Do While Waiting!
Now I know that you’re stressed out and need money right now, but the worst thing that you can do is to go and apply for another loan while you’re waiting to hear back from the first lender. You’ll probably end up having to pay some sort of application fee to them, and your loan application is going to be declined almost automatically since the lender will be able to see that you just applied with a different company.
Another, more rare scenario would have you getting approved for two loans. That might sound great right now, but how in the world are you going to be able to pay all of that back on time?!
If you have a phone that fetches your emails for you go take a walk, or lift some weights, just do something that is going to help you get your mind of your current money problems. Sitting around your computer is just going to make you even more frustrated. Instead do something positive and chill out for a few minutes!
